Born and raised in Ventura, CA, Guy Martin has carved his way into the status of one of the premeire blues guitaritsts in Southern California. Guy is known throughout Ventura county to be one of the heavy weights in the business, slinging his Stratocaster into submission to the likes of SRV, Jimi Hendrix, Albert King, and many other blues greats. With 24-plus years behind every note, Guy brings his own authentic guitar driven interpretation of the blues and blues rock. Starting relativley young at age 16, the guitar was a natural instrument in his hands. Hours, days, weeks, months, and years of honing the chops to the sounds of SRV, Hendrix, ALL the Kings, Buddy Guy, and many more. Guy has had the privelage of sharing the stage with the likes of the late Jeff Healy, Slash, Kenny Wayne Sheperd, Little Feat, Dave Mason, Lonnie Brooks, Jr. Brown, Gregg Almann, and more.

To this day, a new project above and beyond original writing has emerged. That is the project of Guy Martin plays Jimi Hendrix. Not a tribute, but an experience. Guy and long time bass player Tony Trigueiro have fullfilled a long awaited dream of putting this show together, along with background singers and special guests alike.
